Soolsma's PK leads Toronto FC over Whitecaps

Nick Soolsma lined up his penalty kick in the 53rd minute and beat Vancouver goalkeeper Jay Nolly to Soolsma's right for a goal.

It didn't count. Joao Plata was called for encroachment, necessitating a re-kick.Â

Unfazed, Soolsma went left from the spot this time in the 54th minute, and the ball got by Nolly again.
