Real Salt Lake was in a slump, and needed someone to step up and lead the offense, and Alvaro Saborio showed up just in time.
The Costa Rican striker returned from Gold Cup duty in stylish fashion, scoring a pair of goals to help Real Salt Lake win its first game in four, earning SBI MLS Player of the Week honors in the process.
