CONCACAFs Mexico Decision
Late Sunday, CONCACAF announced that the Gold Cup organizing committee will allow Mexico to call in five players to replace those suspended for testing positive for a banned substance. The following is the official press statement. NEW YORK (Sunday, June 19, 2011) – The CONCACAF Gold Cup Organizing Committee today evaluated the petition from the Federacion Mexicana de Futbol to replace five players on its 23-man competition roster who had been separated from the National.
