Liverpool reportedly wishes to wrap up a move for Aston Villa winger Stewart Downing by the end of
the week.
The left-sided player has been linked with a transfer away from the Birmingham-based club for some
time now, with his recent admission of wanting to play in Europe only fuelling the flames of
speculation.
