Mexico Suspends Five Players
Hours before the start of their second matchday in Group A, Antonio Naelson, Christian Bermudez, Edgar Duenas, Guillermo Ochoa, and Francisco Javier Rodriguez were provisionally suspended by the Mexican Federation after testing positive for the banned substance clenbuterol. The drug tests were conducted in training camp before the start of Group A last Sunday.
