Penarol won the first semi-final leg against Velez Sarsfield 1 0 bringing back memories of the invincible Centenario! The success of the Celeste in the last World Cup has been contagious for Uruguayan clubs as well! The last time the Aurinegros won the Libertadores was in 1987.
