Political Infighting at FIFA Paves Way For Sepp Blatter to be Re-Elected President

After the last couple of days everything that happened within this FIFA-CONCACAF bribery scandal felt like either a Three Stooges routine or a bad version of a Mel Brooks movie (I'm thinking Blazing Saddles). Was there a scandal or was there a comedy of errors that were being saved by Sepp Blatter and him proving to the rest of the executive committee and FIFA that he should be President for life?
