Report: Union Sign Serbian Striker Veljko Paunovic

Veljko Paunovic has been signed by the Philadelphia Union, according to the website The Mata-dor Confidential.

The 33-year-old Serbian striker was on trial with the Union last week, when he played with the Union's reserve team. Paunovic did not particularly impress onlookers at the Reserve League game against DC United, though his play wasn't poor.
