Despite recording more shots, Reading were defeated 1-0 by the Harrisburg City Islanders Tuesday night at Exeter's Don Thomas Stadium.

In a matchup that featured both Union affiliated clubs, it was a goal by Harrisburg's Sainey Touray in the 64th minute that proved to be the difference. While both teams had numerous opportunities to score, neither could capitalize thanks to some quality goalkeeping.
