I think it's fair to say that this season has been a good one for African football in the Football League. Taarabt at QPR has been the standout player in the Championship and has rightly won many plaudits for his performances in a QPR shirt.
In goal I have selected 34 year old Cape Verdian Jose Veiga of Macclesfield Town.
