Six years ago today - the miracle of Istanbul

On May 25th, 2005, Liverpool went into the Champion's League final against AC Milan with the hopes of dreams of every Liverpool fan in the world on their shoulders, and got off to a disastrous start when Paolo Maldini scored after just 1 minute. By half time it was 3-0 to AC Milan, but then something magical happened - in 6 minutes Liverpool pulled it back to 3-3, and won on penalties.
