Thousands of Geordies breathed a huge sigh of relief yesterday as Newcastle United's Premier League status was confirmed. The 2-1 win against Birmingham City at St. James's Park meant that even if all the bottom three teams win all their remaining games, they still couldn't catch Newcastle.
