SANTA CLARA, Calif. – A back and forth affair ended in defeat for the New England Revolution
as the San Jose Earthquakes scored twice in a twelve minute span late in the second half and
eventually won 2-1 on Saturday night.
Ellis McLoughlin opened the scoring in the 71st minute and Bobby Convey doubled the ‘Quakes
(3-4-3, 12 points) lead twelve minutes later.
