State pros: McLoughlin opens account

Ellis McLoughlin didn't need long to make an impact for the San Jose Earthquakes.

The 20-year-old forward, who played youth soccer in Madison, scored his first Major League Soccer goal in the Earthquakes' 2-1 victory over the New England Revolution on Saturday night in San Jose, Calif.
