Ronaldo Bags 40th League Goals as Madrid Crush Almeria 8-1
Cristiano Ronaldo broke an old-standing La Liga goal record after bagging is 40th league goal of the season as Real Madrid smashed bottom side Almeria 8-1.
The Portuguese superstar surpassed the likes of Lionel Messi, the Brazilian Ronaldo and former record holders Hugo Sanchez and Telmo Zarra to become the most prolific goalscorer in La Liga history.
