Galaxy sign former Dallas defender Kyle Davies
The Oakland native was waived by Dallas May 5 and picked up by the Galaxy the next day.
He is eligible to play Saturday against Chivas USA after agreeing contract terms.
The 22-year-old started his pro career with England's Southampton in 2007, was selected by Real Salt Lake in a weighted lottery in 2009 and was traded to Dallas less than two weeks later.
