Another learning experience: Portland Timbers outplay then outlast FC Dallas

The Portland Timbers kept up the torrid scoring pace at JELD-WEN Field in putting up three goals versus FC Dallas in front of another packed house and improved weather from the April 14 opener. Unfortunately, some late defensive issues allowed FC Dallas to pull the match to within a goal at 3 to 2 with 5 mintues left.
