WPS Responds to magicJack owner infractions and statements
Today following many issues dealing with magicJack owner Dan Borislow, theWomen's Professional
Soccer league has released an official statement regarding the recent sanctions imposed on the
former Washington Freedom franchise, now called magicJack.
WPS OFFICIAL STATEMENT:
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (May 14, 2011) -Warning the owner of the magicJack women's soccer club that it
will not tolerate his contractual failures and disparaging statements, Women's Professional Soccer
took action to ensure the team can meet obligations.
