Real Salt Lake may have lost its playmaker, but it still has its spot atop the SBI MLS Power Rankings.

Despite having Javier Morales exit its match with a broken ankle, Salt Lake powered through to a victory over nine-man Chivas USA to improve to 5-1 on the season. That victory, coupled with the New York-Los Angeles stalemate left the top three spots unchanged.
