Raheem Returns To Liverpool
England U17s ace Raheem Sterling has returned to parent club Liverpool today, after picking up an
ankle injury in Friday's game with Denmark.
Sterling was substituted just before half time in the match after stretching to control a pass and
after being evaluated by the England medical staff in Serbia and consultation with their
counterparts at Anfield, it was decided that he wouldn't be fit to feature in Monday's Group A
closer with the host nation so would return to his club for further treatment.
