United fall to New England 2-3 in U.S. Open Cup play in match

In front of a "home crowd" at the Maryland SoccerPlex, D.C. United was unable to keep alive it's streak of playing in the U.S. Open Cup. United has played in every U.S. Open Cup since 2002 a tournament the Black and Red have won twice.





"I think we certainly showed more than [the Revolution] did in the first 50 to 60 minutes," DC head coach Ben Olsen said Tuesday night.
