Western Conference Notes: Barrett looks to start, FCD U-18s stand out and more

Now that he's finally on the scoreboard, L.A. Galaxy forward Chad Barrett is hoping for brighter days in Los Angeles.

Barrett tallied his first goal in a Galaxy uniform on last Sunday's victory against the Chicago Fire. After starting several matches at the beginning of the season, Barrett has been resigned to the bench with Argentine Miguel Lopez taking his slot alongside Juan Pablo Angel.
