El Pais: Andrés Ramiro 'Manga' Escobar Staying In Colombia
Colombian newspaper El Pais is reporting that Andrés Ramiro 'Manga' Escobar will stay with Deportivo Cali, in Colombia, for the remainder of the season.
The 19-year-old left winger was not able to to finalize an agreement with MLS or one of its teams in order to move to America. Helmuth Wenin, Escobar's agent, decried the wall of time that his client was up against to complete a transfer.
