It was a tough night for Oguchi Onyewu and Twente in the Europa League, with a lopsided loss at El Madrigal. Villarreal opened the scoring in the 22nd minute, adding two more goals in the 43rd and 45th to take a 3-0 lead into halftime. They scored again in the 55th and 80th minutes. Twente spoiled the shutout with a stoppage time goal.
