Doyle injury could prove costly for Wolves
The news that Wolves striker Kevin Doyle could miss the rest of the season must have rocked all those associated with the club. Doyle lasted a total of 20 minutes in the Republic of Ireland's Euro 2012 qualifying win over Macedonia before limping off with a knee injury.
Republic of Ireland coach Giovanni Trappattoni has claimed Doyle has suffered medial ligament damage and will be out for one or two months, news that Wolves had yet to deny or confirm.
