Fire inks former U.S. U-20 striker Ferrari
Gabriel Ferrari's test drive with the Chicago Fire was successful.
The Fire signed Ferrari, a former United States U-20 striker, on Thursday after he was on trial with the team throughout the preseason.
Ferrari, 22, was a product of the New York Red Bulls youth system before signing with Sampdoria in Italy's Serie A three years ago.
