Get Well Soon: Éric Abidal, Barcelona

Barcelona defender and former Kickette Midweek Mmm, Eric Abidal, will undergo surgery on Friday for a tumour on his liver. The news was announced via Barca's Twitter feed and has since been confirmed on their official website.
Abidal, who has made over one hundred and forty appearances for his club, has requested privacy and Barcelona have yet to confirm when the player might be expected to return.
