Newcastle Could Permanently Sign Stephen Ireland

According to Pete O'Rourke at Sky Sports News, Newcastle boss Alan Pardew admitted that the club could permanently sign midfielder Stephen Ireland from Aston Villa. Pardew said,

"He's still got time to impress me because I still think there is a chance of something permanent here for Stephen .
