Liverpool Ponder £2.5m Bid For Preston's Adam Barton
Liverpool is weighing up a £2.5million bid for Preston North End midfielder Adam Barton.
Liverpool scouts have watched the 20-year-old extensively this season and assistant manager Sammy
Lee made another check last Saturday as Barton helped Preston recover a draw against QPR.
The former Blackburn trainee, who has been capped by Northern Ireland, is rated at £5m by Preston
- but they may struggle to command that figure if they go down to League One.
