Giggs and Ferdinand Out of Marseille Clash

Ryan Giggs and Rio Ferdinand will definitely not be playing against Marseille in the Champions League on Wednesday after both missed the trip to France.

Ferdinand has failed to recover from an injury picked up several weeks ago while Giggs absence is not quite clear.

United will also be missing Anderson who picked up a knee injury at the week-end against Crawley while Michael Owen, Jonny Evans Park ji Sung and Antonio Valencia who picked up an horrendous Injury against Rangers in United's opening Champions League game are also absent.
