Roma appoint Montella as new coach
ROME, Italy — Roma have named youth coach Vincenzo Montella as their new manager, 24 hours after the resignation of Claudio Ranieri, the Serie A club announced on Monday. Ranieri resigned on Sunday in the aftermath of the Italian capital side's 4-3 loss at Genoa, despite having led 3-0, for Roma's fourth straight loss.
