VC Fusion-D.C. United game in Oxnard rescheduled for 10:30 a.m. today
Torrential rain throughout Ventura County including a tornado warning in the coastal hamlet of La Conchita prompted the postponement of the friendly Saturday afternoon.
The game could feature an appearance for United by former U.S. international Charlie Davies, who is on loan from his French club and attempting a comeback from life-threatening injuries he suffered last year in a car crash in Washington after he broke curfew before a World Cup qualifying game.
