I wasn't going to explain my absence since the weekend, but I may as well now. I've been lying low for a few because of an incident with a garbage truck pulling out on wet cobblestone and a kicked up small rock that made a beeline for my eyeball. I never saw it coming, was sitting on my bike looking a bit the other way (which probably helped it not be too bad in the end).
