Andy Carroll gave the thumbs-up to Liverpool fans after training properly for the first time since
his £35million switch.
The giant striker, who joined from Newcastle on deadline day in a breathtaking deal, stepped out at
Melwood to be put through his paces.
And he signalled his happiness to watching youngsters, who peered over the fences to snatch a
glimpse at their new No 9 after the record-breaking departure of Fernando Torres to Chelsea for
£50m.
