Harry Redknapp To Stand Trial For Tax Evasion
Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has failed in his bid to get a charge of tax evasion dropped and will now have to go to trial this year alongside his former Portsmouth bosses Peter Storrie and Milan Mandaric.
Redknapp and former owner Mandaric are facing charges relating to their alleged evasion of public revenue payments of around £40,000 and former chief executive Storrie is charged with evading tax in relation to Portsmouth midfielder Eyal Berkovic's contract termination fee in an unconnected case.
