Republic Thump Wales in Home Nations

The Rep. of Ireland got their inaugural Carling Home Nations off to the best possible start to-night as they thumped Wales 3-0 at the Aviva Stadium.

After a drape scoreless first-half the game came to life mid-way through the second half with 3 unanswered Irish goals from Darren Gibson, Damien Duff and Sub Keith Fahey who replaced the disappointing Seamus Coleman.
