Fergie bemoans Rio absence
Sir Alex Ferguson admitted that bottom-ranked Wolverhampton Wanderers deserved their 2-1 win against Manchester United yesterday but implied that things could have been very different had Rio Ferdinand played in the defense.
As United surrendered their 24-game unbeaten streak in the Premier League this season, it was inevitable to wonder whether the Wolves would have been so dangerous in the air against a player of Rio's caliber and experience.
