The legal travails and sporting bans handed down to Pakistan cricketers Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir (10 years, five of which are suspended; 7 years, 2 of which are suspended; and 5 years respectively) for spot-fixing seems lenient although the ICC has no doubt gone for their standard 'justice being seen to be done' template rather than justice actually being done.
