El Club de Futbol Monterrey is a Mexican football club from Monterrey, Nuevo León. Founded in 1945, it is also the oldest team from the north of Mexico currently playing in the country's professional division. Because of its home uniform C.F. Monterrey is traditionally known as Los Rayados (the striped ones).
