Dutch defender Edson Braafheid joins Hoffenheim
HOFFENHEIM, Germany — Netherlands defender Edson Braafheid has joined Hoffenheim from Bundesliga rival Bayern Munich. Hoffenheim said the 27-year-old signed a 3 1/2-year contract on Thursday. Braafheid says the transfer is "very important for my further development, particularly with a view to the national team.
