Celtic have out muscled rivals Rangers in the transfer market for the signing of Scotland and Derby striker Kris Commons.

Rangers had initially made enquiries for the striker but couldn't match the Celts spending power in thr transfer market with an offer believed to be £300,000 for the striker.
