Bassong staying at White Hart Lane

Another player who is likely to remain at the Lane for the foreseeable future is Sebastien Bassong.

Given Spurs' injury problems at the back, it is unlikely that the club would want to let him go now in any case, but with his first team chances restricted, it had been rumoured that Bassong would be gone this month.
