Timbers add two players from former USL club, announce new training facility
The Portland Timbers roster grew by two players on January 26, adding a defender and goalkeeper from their 2010 USL roster. Defender Steve Purdy and goalkeeper Adin Brown were invitees to training camp, and did enough to secure roster spots on the team's MLS first team roster. Meanwhile, the Timbers unveiled plans for a training facility in Beaverton, being built with assistance from the Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation District and adidas America.
