Tottenham boss not surprised by snub

Former Manchester United striker Giuseppe Rossi ended speculation surrounding a possible transfer to Tottenham Hotspur by signing a new deal with his La Liga club Villarreal.

Rossi, who is an Italy international, had been linked with a switch to White Hart Lane as a replacement for Robbie Keane before he expressed his commitment to staying in Spain.
