One of the strangest League tables going into New Year…
Football is a funny game. Just over two months ago, I was writing about whether we should just hand the title over to Chelsea, call the season to an end and let all of England unite in common hatred against the Aussies over the Ashes. Such was Chelsea's dominance, their tennis scorelines of 6-0, 6-2, 6-1 etc and the general unstoppableness of their scary team from hell that even less than 1/4th into the season seemed like a time fit enough to throw in the towel.
