Rose : “If Gannon Would Of Stayed I’d Of Gone”
Stockport County left back Michael Rose said that the only reason he is still playing for county is because Jim Gannon left. In an interview Rose said : "I was on the verge of signing for Hartlepool, I went up there and agreed terms. He then added " I never wanted to leave Stockport, it was just going to be a new challenge for me, if Jim Gannon was staying here really i didn't want to be here, but obviously with him leaving I managed to speak to Jim Melrose and he told me the way the club was heading and told me he wanted me to stay " .
