Last minute or too late?

Let me start this by saying I hate the transfer window. I understand the logic behind it, but it's always the same, the final day is a free for all scramble with clubs leaving it as late as possible hoping to get the best deals. Sometimes it works and sometimes you buy Grzegorz Rasiak.
