Dempsey scores in Fulham's Carling Cup rout

Clint Dempsey scored his first goal of the new season, netting in Fulham's 6-0 victory against fourth division Port Vale in the second round of the Carling Cup on Wednesday.

Having come off the bench at halftime, Dempsey capped the scoring for Fulham with a right footed shot from approximately 25 yards out in the 70th minute.
