DU falls in warmup, 2-1
The University of Denver men's soccer team fell 2-1 to Creighton in DU's exhibition opener at CIBER Field on Saturday night.
Creighton held a two-goal lead with 5:30 left in the game, when freshman defender Theodor Remman scored to cut the lead. After a Bluejays foul, junior midfielder Alex DeCosta fired a pass inside the box, and Remman headed the ball past the Creighton keeper.
