One of Wolves' best defenders will be sticking around for awhile longer. Today George Elokobi signed a new three-year deal, keeping the defender at the Molineux and anchoring a backline that will need his toughness if they want to stay in the Premier League for years to come.

"I'm absolutely delighted that George has earned himself a new contract, which is a credit to his sheer hard work and determination," said Wolves boss Mick McCarthy as he addressed the media.
